i love james brown he is a true artist- the best thing about him was that he inspired others around him to become great musicians- my new favorite artists, eric solomon, says james brown is one of his role models- and i believe it. jb is mortal but he can live through other peoples work.
if you loved jb's tunes you will love eric solmon-funk and soul <3

Yes indeed, he is already missed by me.
I had a very bad christmasmorning that day.
I will never forget this.
My hushband was wondering how he would tell me this bad news, but then i got a call from my niece and she said my condoleances to you and i said i'm sorry.
She said didn't you heard the news yet and i said no.
And then i started crying, hung up my niece and cried for about one hour.
I got a lot of phonecalls and e-mails from friends, familie and college's.
He was truly my musichero.

Man, this video is great, the time when Mr Brown was at the peak of his funk and soul. Love it! I'm just sad that I never managed to see him performing live.
